We have been extremely fortunate to have had our new kitchen funded by The Wisley Foundation of Wisley Golf Club.
The original kitchen from when the flat was purchased was starting to look very shabby and although functional, in reality needed replacing.
We now have new units and appliances supplied by David at Blok Designs Redhill. He was able to call in a few favours on our behalf to get everything almost within our budget and Steve did an amazing job fitting it.
Thank you Wisley Golf Club Foundation this will be appreciated by the families who stay and of course by Emma’s Bubble Trust for you generosity.
She did it! Chloë decided in her 30th year to take on her very first running challenge and on Sunday 6th April she ran in the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
The sun was shining and the atmosphere was pumping, a perfect day for both runners and supporters alike. She raised £1,780 for Emma’s Bubble Trust and £505 for The Royal Marsden – what an achievement! You can still support her by visiting her sponsorship page.

We often heard through our treatment contacts at The Royal Marsden hospital that they often had teenagers and their families struggling to find places to stay locally when receiving treatment. And often they would find it difficult to travel back and forth between home and the hospital (with many having to do 300 mile round trips in a day). Our thought was that we could help here and so we made the big decision to purchase a local flat.
And as many of you are aware Our Flat is now being used by both patients having to attend daycare for chemotherapy and by parents of these teenage patients, providing accommodation at The Royal Marsden Hospital.
By being able to stay locally in the flat it makes life so much easier, cutting down on travel expenses and having the reassurance that they are a stones throw away from the hospital if they are needed.
We have had so much positive feedback from those that have stayed, saying how welcoming, comfortable and convenient it is, which is great! Check out Our Flat page to read some of the amazing comments that we have received.

Our annual Emma’s Ball took place on 7th December at The Woodlands Park Hotel, Cobham.
We had a fabulous evening and raised £6410

On the 10th of October we held a fashion show at The Del Centre, Ashtead. It was a chance to catch up with friends and neighbours plus an opportunity to treat ourselves to a new outfit!
Thank you to our lovely models who volunteered and did a splendid job.
A big thank you also to all those that attended and to those ladies that were unable to come along but made a donation.
We raised a fantastic total of £1051.12

We are very fortunate to have been chosen by the Lady Captain Jane Cox of Epsom Golf Club as her charity for the year.
Lynn Brandon was invited to the ladies Invitation Day on Thursday 18th July by Jane and was made to feel very welcome by all the ladies attending.
We had a great day of golf in the sunshine followed by a very scrummy lunch.
The day raised £230 which brings the total amount the club has raised for us since March to £731.
