A huge thank you to Sandra Hagger and Susan Burton who have supported our charity over the years. They very kindly made this beautiful quilt to commemorate this year being our 10th anniversary of the charity being founded.
Raffle tickets were sold and the lucky winner was Sandra’s boss! We had lots of disappointed ticket holders but thanks to the girls we raised much needed funds. We really do appreciate Sandra and Susan’s wonderful talent and I’m sure the winner will enjoy all their hard work.
Well what a night we had on Saturday 9th December 2017 at Woodlands Park Hotel for Emma’s Ball!
This year’s Ball was one of our biggest yet with 139 guests attending the event to raise money for our cause. Guests arrived for reception drinks at 6.30pm and were seated for dinner at 7pm, with food choices having already been made. As usual our Master of Ceremony David took charge of the room, encouraging people to get involved with the Table Auction, Raffle and most importantly the Auction.
We were very lucky to have been presented with many auction prizes this year and a HUGE thank you must go out to everyone that kindly donated…as through a combination of all of our fundraising efforts we managed to raise just shy of £9000!
To put this in perspective this amount of money will allow us to continue to maintain our flat that we purchased 2 years ago that assists teenagers that are receiving treatment at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton. This amount is extra special as it means that we are able to continue this funding for the next 7 months, so a MASSIVE thank you to everyone that bid on auction prizes, took part in the raffles and most importantly donated!

So many thanks to the team at Healix Group in Esher who ran a bake sale for us and raised an amazing £198.22!
Here’s a note from Nicola Gill:
We had a great day selling cakes in our office in aid of Emma’s Bubble Trust. We loaded our trolley up with goodies for the 11am mid morning break, which went down very well with the staff, especially Adam D’s coffee cake which sold out in under an hour! We then made our rounds again at 3pm so that everyone could have an afternoon pick me up. The leftovers (and there wasn’t much left!) were left out for the weekend staff. A big thank you to all of our bakers who created some delicious goodies! A very successful bake sale!

We recently received the below email from Graham Jelley the Premises & Facilities Manager at The Family Building Society:
You may recall we met very briefly last month in the HSBC bank in Epsom High Street, whilst we were both doing some banking.
I have nominated EmmasBubbleTrust to be one of the charities our staff Sports & Social club support this year, and I am pleased to say this was accepted earlier today at the club’s AGM.
Throughout the year we undertake a whole range of sports & social events as well as regular ad-hoc events during the working week creating an opportunity for the staff to help raise funds for our chosen charities.
I will be in touch again shortly, but in the interim if you would like to discuss the charity with me in more detail then please let me know, and I wish you and the rest of Emma’s Army good luck with your fund raising.
A big thank you goes out to Graham for suggesting us. As you can imagine we’re absolutely over the moon and can’t wait to see what events the team plan over the course of the next year!
Thank you to everyone who came to support us at our Garden Party and Fayre today (or on Sunday) in Epsom. The sun shone and we all enjoyed prosecco or tea and cakes on the lawn and then went shopping at the ‘Garden Fayre’ in the next door garden.
Many thanks to everyone who came along and very special thanks to all the lovely people who came selling goods, plants and flowers, jewellery, clothes, gifts and much more.

We had so much fun on our London to Brighton ride for 2017, with Adam W, Paul, Stevie, Sophie, Tom, Ryan, Louise, Jo, Lenny and Adam L, cycling the distance from The Royal Marsden Hospital to Brighton, on one of the hottest nicest rides we’ve had in a number of years.
This year was a little different as we decided to run the ride a week before we usually do, as we had the Wimbledon Fair the following weekend, but we were really glad that we did. As normal we took the route from The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton, down to Brighton. Many riders decided to cycle over to the start this year, so ended up covering a lot more distance than we have in previous years.
It really was a fantastic day, with riders raising lots of money and the supporters doing a fantastic job of raising over £300 en route too! Massive thanks go out to the stag and hen parties in Brighton who made it a real giggle, especially swapping shirts with Stevie!
