Accommodation at The Royal Marsden Hospital

We often heard through our treatment contacts at The Royal Marsden hospital that they often had teenagers and their families struggling to find places to stay locally when receiving treatment. And often they would find it difficult to travel back and forth between home and the hospital (with many having to do 300 mile round trips in a day). Our thought was that we could help here and so we made the big decision to purchase a local flat.

And as many of you are aware Our Flat is now being used by both patients having to attend daycare for chemotherapy and by parents of these teenage patients, providing accommodation at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

By being able to stay locally in the flat it makes life so much easier, cutting down on travel expenses and having the reassurance that they are a stones throw away from the hospital if they are needed.
