A place for us to share our memories of Emma
Emma was an ordinary, fun loving teenager who was tragically struck down by cancer just days after her 16th birthday. In this section we’ll remember the many highlights of Emma’s all too short life, and include reminiscences from those that loved her. If you have any memories and anecdotes, or pictures and videos of Emma, please comment below or contact us at stories@emmasbubbletrust.org.
I think my best memory of Em, was taking her and Chloe swimming down where I used to work. They were both so excited when they got to go in my car when I had just started to drive. Brings back fond memories.
Not my fondest memory but one I will never forget! (You’ll see why in a minute) must have been year 10 when all this drama began!!, me and em use to share a locker – don’t know why to be honest (we both had our own) except we just use to shove everything in mine and hers would always be empty (prime use was to lock away our valuables when necessary- IT NEVER WAS, so it remained empty practically all year. So Em would always come in with these nice lunches. Specific day was a salmon salad. It didn’t get eaten, I think we tucked into something fatty in the canteen, so she left the container of salmon salad in the locker, weeks passed, books piled on top etc. Nearly a year later!!!! MY ict book stunk of fish one afternoon! So I got in major trouble for never having my book! The god dam salmon salad had leaked all over our books- however missing all of Ems and just infecting mine, how lucky for Em! We then transferred the non smelling books into ems sparkly clean locker and stuck the padlock on mine! Funniest day- Me Ellen Betty Iz and Lowra trying to clear out that locker at the end of year 11!! Won’t detail what happened! But it stunk, I reckon Em had a pretty big smile on her face at the sight of us 5, it was like we were dissecting some kind of corpse! I feel for the person who had that locker the following year!!! THE END.x
