I have reserved 9 rooms at The Burford Bridge Hotel which is almost opposite the venue at £110 for a double room, £100 single, including breakfast, so again if you are interested please let me know. Obviously if the unthinkable happens and restrictions are once again applied then all money will be refunded.

Emma’s Ball 2020 – CANCELLED

I am sure that this won’t come as a huge surprise but due to the current Covid 19 restrictions we are sadly having to cancel our annual Ball.

This is a huge blow for the charity as this is our main fundraiser and all fundraising events have not been able to go ahead at all during 2020. However everyone’s well-being and safely is paramount.

Hopefully next year we can get things back on track to keep the flat running and supporting those patients and their families that need it most.

Thank you to everyone that has registered with Amazon Smile and nominated us as your chosen charity. With Christmas coming and most of us using internet shopping 0.5% of each total shop will help a great deal. If you shop with Amazon please make sure you nominate us and ask your friends and family to do so too! You can also now sign up for use in the app: https://www.amazon.co.uk/b?ie=UTF8&node=17337655031.

Keep safe and well

Best wishes

Regency Grove Consultants supports EBT as Charity

Regency Grove Consultants are now supporting Emma’s Bubble Trust, a teenage cancer charity. The partnership means that Regency Grove will take part in various events throughout the year to raise money, as well as contributing to the running costs of the apartment, provided for the family and patients of the Royal Marsden Hospital.

Emma’s Bubble Trust (https://www.emmasbubbletrust.org) is a local Surrey charity with the aim of raising awareness of teenage cancers and helping to alleviate the suffering that teenagers and their families often have to go through while undergoing treatment at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

Founded in 2008 after the sudden and tragic loss of Emma Brandon to Hodgkins Lymphoma, the charity has funded 3 major projects to date, the latest of which is the purchase and ongoing maintenance of a flat a mere 7 minute walk from The Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

Commenting on the partnership, Regency Grove Director Chris Leone said:

“I was originally introduced to Emma’s Bubble Trust through a friend who works with the charity and asked if I could help provide consultancy advice associated with the acquisition of the apartment.  It’s great for us to now be able to support the charity having recently formed as a new company and really give something back in helping assist families of teenagers undergoing treatment. It’s amazing to be able to work closely with such a charity and look forward to seeing the difference that we’re able to make through our fundraising efforts and sponsorship.”.

Joy Lynch, Emma’s Bubble Trust trustee, said:

“As a small local charity it’s great to be supported by Regency Grove. Being able to work closely with the guys to come up with fundraising ideas, as well as leveraging their knowledge of the building industry to assist with the apartment is massively helpful. Every penny raised for Emma’s Bubble Trust goes directly into funding the ongoing costs, so we really appreciate all of the fundraising efforts and sponsorship that Regency Grove are helping us with. Every Moment Matters Always.”

Look out for more news on our fundraising efforts in the coming months.

Tracy Fox’s London Marathon 2019

Hi I’m Tracy. A humble amateur “runner”. I found running once my brother bought me an Xmas present to entry into Reading Half. This was due to me watching the London Marathon every year and telling him “Al, one day I will run a marathon” …..always inspired but never taking the leap into signing up…..

Well, I have to date run 70 odd marathons but always wanted to run London, applying every year (×7).

Adam and I volunteered at London last year with Sutton Runners. After ticking a few more boxes was able to qualify to get into SR ballot. I was aware when the draw was happening but NEVER thought I would ever get into London.

I was drawn out the hat and I have been training to try to get a bit faster. I would dearly love to run for Emma’s Bubble Trust as the story and the cause is something which is close to my heart. I have never until now asked for donations but this is a special one for a special charity.

Emma’s Bubble Trust is a fabulous charity which supports young people and their families who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Emma was a normal 16 year old from a local school, who suddenly after her 16th birthday was struck down with cancer.

As a school teacher this I feel is a truly worthy cause.
